Literacy Link Eastern Ontario, Inc. (LLEO) is a network organization that provides support, referral services and professional development opportunities to the 13 adult literacy and Essential Skills agencies and satellite locations throughout its region in south-eastern Ontario. Agencies served by LLEO are located in urban, rural and remote communities.
LLEO has built a solid reputation for developing, managing and producing quality literacy and Essential Skills projects, with the assistance of provincial and federal funding. Products developed through these projects have been distributed locally, provincially, nationally and internationally.
With funding from the Office of Literacy and Essential Skills (OLES) – Human Resources Skills Development Canada (HRSDC), LLEO has completed four more bilingual occupational curricula based on the Essentials Skills and seek community partners to field test these materials. We are now beginning the process of field testing the English versions of these materials and would like to invite you and your students to be a part of this process. We offer a $500.00 honourarium plus an additional $100 to cover printing costs for these materials. Field trials can begin as early as February 21, 2011 and will run for approximately 8 weeks.
