Saskatchewan Aboriginal Literacy Awards 2010 – Nomination Deadline Extended to April 30, 2010

The deadline for nominations for the Saskatchewan Aboriginal Literacy Awards has been extended to Friday, April 30 at 5 p.m. These awards honour and recognize individual and organizational effort in the development, enhancement, and/or promotion of Aboriginal literacy in Saskatchewan. Recipients will be recognized in each of the following categories: Elder, Practitioner, Learner, and Organization/Business. Nominations are accepted, accompanied by two letters of support. Recipients will be recognized at the Saskatchewan Aboriginal Literacy Awards Gala on Tuesday, May 25th, in Manitou Beach, SK, as part of the 4th Saskatchewan Aboriginal Literacy Gathering – Literacy: An Aboriginal Cultural Tradition.
