National Adult Literacy Database

Information filters now available on NALD

The National Adult Literacy Database (NALD) has integrated the content of its former NALD@Work website into the main NALD site. Users now have the option of viewing all content or choosing to view only literacy information or essential skills content.

If you would prefer to narrow your search beyond the combined site, click the tabs at the top of the page and make your selection: either Literacy or Essential skills.

Once a filter has been applied, you may remove it by either:

  • Selecting “Remove filter” from the top menu tabs
  • Clicking on the text bar that appears across the top of the page below the menu, or
  • Simply clicking the NALD-BDAA logo

The information stream you have chosen is reflected in the menu field by the following colours:

  • Charcoal grey: Literacy content
  • Light blue: Essential skills content
  • Dark blue: All content

The filters apply to the following sections:  Home, Headlines, Contacts, Websites, Calls for papers, Newsletters and Tools.
