You Did What?! A Reality Check on Human Resources Practices - Essential Skills in the Workplace

From addictions in the workplace to employee misconduct to inappropriate use of social media, employers struggle to learn how to deal with situations in their organizations.

"You Did What?! A Reality Check on Human Resources Practices" (Onate Press, Calgary) is a compilation of scenarios that workers and employees alike are required to address on a regular basis.

Supported by the HR Partnership Council at Mount Royal University, the book was launched November 15, 2011, at a sold-out breakfast event at the Calgary Chamber of Commerce.

The scenarios presented in this book are based on real cases in Canadian workplaces. They all address situations dealing with essential skills such as thinking, oral communication and working with others.

The book is being promoted as “an excellent resource for employers, students and those looking to improve their situation in the workforce.”
