The National Adult Literacy Database (NALD) is a proud supporter of family literacy in all its forms. Every year since 1999, on January 27, Family Literacy Day (FLD) is celebrated in communities throughout Canada with activities related to reading, writing and math. The NALD website has a section dedicated to FLD. This page has been recently updated and now contains reading suggestions from the NALD library for families.
