Labour Force Survey revised for 2011

Starting with today's release, all labour force estimates are now based on the 2006 Census population counts rather than the 2001 Census. With this revision, the total Canadian population has been revised downward 0.3 per cent, which is approximately half the size of the previous revision in 2005.
