Canadians, particularly those of conservative persuasion, love to compare Canada with the United States, which has a lot to learn in the key area of K-12 education. I watched with pride as my daughter walked across the stage and received her GED diploma this month. Actually she got the diploma a year-and-a-half ago, but celebrated with other GED graduates at a special ceremony at the New Brunswick Community College Woodstock Campus recently.
