About the Partnership
The Northern Workplace/Workforce Literacy Consortium came together in April 2004 in Yellowknife, to share information and aspirations for workplace and workforce literacy in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. The Nunavut Literacy Council and the NWT Literacy Council have taken a lead role in initiating the development of the Partnership with financial support from the National Literacy Secretariat and Skills Development Canada.
