Story of the Week

December 12, 2005

The following story was written by Jocelyn Morris, from the Halifax area in Nova Scotia. Jocelyn is a student at the Captain William Spry Public Library literacy program and works with her tutor Collette once a week.

Back to School

by Jocelyn Morris

I would like to learn to read and write better at the Captain William Spry Library. The library is just great. I like the teachers and tutors. My tutor is a very nice lady, and she is very good at what she does. I went last year and they asked if I wanted to come back in September, when they open again.

I can learn math and maybe more reading and writing, which would be really great. I like to learn.
