The following text was written by Marilyn Elizabeth Young, from Vancouver, BC. Marilyn was recently enrolled at the Carnegie Learning Centre in Vancouver.
Today's the day I will make my world shine brighter and I will keep a friendly smile on my face, and I will hug the ones I love a little tighter.
Today, I work for peace and understanding and in whatever job I have to do, I will try to be more patient: Calmer: Slow to anger: Less judgemental. and less demanding, and I will listen well to other points of view.
Today I want to use my positive energy to be more giving and to put more joy in living each day at a time. To spend less negative energy on long past sadnesses, and grief by practising my beliefs.
Todays the day I will make my world shine brighter by lightening someone's burden, and making my home a warmer, kinder place. I will try to set a good example in being the best possible me that I can be.
Sincerely & Respectfully,
Marilyn Elizabeth Young
