Story of the Week
August 28, 2000
The following story comes to us from the Yukon. The author, Qun Liang has been attending class at Yukon Learn for three years. Qun says "I love to learn is my motto." She wants to better herself, not only for her but for her family. Now after three years of learning new things, she feels very good about herself because she knows her English has improved. Qun has been able to apply her new knowledge in the workplace and it is most important for her family.
Studying is Part of My Life

When I go to study at Yukon Learn, it reminds me of my first years in school, when I lived in China as a young girl. All my teachers at Yukon Learn make me feel comfortable, and help me like a friend. They have helped me with my English language and to be a good Canadian.
