Story of the Week

February 9, 2004

This week, we have a story written by Esther L. Smith, from Salisbury, NB. Esther was recently enrolled at the Salisbury Adult Learning Centre Community Academic Services Program. She has since left for health reasons.

I Can Imagine, Can't I?

by Esther L. Smith

I was doing something in the kitchen when, all at once, I heard a noise outside, and I wondered what was going on.

I decided to go to the door, and when I opened the door, a gentleman said that I had just won $11 million dollars from their company.

I said, "What? I did? I can't believe this!"

Anyway, I locked my door and went out to get in the big limousine. I was wearing something nice and casual - a dress, not jeans.
