Things I like about Hamilton

by Lloyd D.

I like the Hamilton bus transit because it runs until 2:00 a.m. whereas in some other cities, transit stops at 11.45 p.m. Hamilton has a good transit system -- the late bus schedule allows working class people on the night shift to be able to take a bus home. Strollers are allowed on the buses whereas other cities don't allow them. Most of the Hamilton bus drivers are very polite and kind to new people in the city who ask for directions.

I also like Hamilton because of its hospital system, especially McMaster Children's Hospital. Many families across Canada visit McMaster Children's Hospital and the bus driver’s guide and show them where they need to go. You can go back and forth from the hospital by bus which is cheaper if coming from out of town.

Also, the police seem very organized and are always ready to maintain peace in public places like malls, streets and bus stations. This is something you don't see in most cities.
