Story of the Week

November 27, 2000

This poem was written by Sandra Campbell, from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Sandra has been in the literacy program at Prince Albert Youth Activity Centre for a month and she likes it. What made her come to a literacy program was the simple fact that she needed to get some of her schooling skills back. Her pastimes are writing poems, hanging out with friends and playing pool and sports. Sandra's interest in writing poems has always been there. She has a whole book of poems. What inspires her to write these poems are just everyday things!

I Love You

by Sandra Campbell

As i sit here and look out the window,
every little thing reminds me of you!!
The snow so soft like your gentle lips!!
The scenery so beautiful like your dreammy eyes!!
I sit and wonder if you ever think like this to!!
All i can ever think of is you!!
All my heart and dedication all belongs to you!!
All my dreams and asperations are all thanks to you!!!
I'd just like to say that i love you!!!
