Story of the Week

July 30, 2012

The following story was written by Dayna M., from Kingston, Ontario. Dayna is enrolled in literacy classes at the Salvation Army West Program, with Kingston Literacy & Skills (KL & S).

Dogs Are the Best!

by Dayna M.

If you are a dog lover, this is something you should take the time to read. Dogs are your best friend! They are adorable, not to mention the fact that they rescue people and they keep you active.

Dogs give warm hugs and love to be cuddled and even give sloppy kisses! They love greeting you at the door after a long day at work. They are very loyal and never talk back to you. They just look up at you with their big brown eyes, which will melt your heart! Their unconditional love will make them your very best friend.

If you are a dog owner, you will already have experienced what I am talking about. Dogs will always be your best friend; they will help out in dangerous situations, and they will ultimately get you more active.
