This poem was written by Audrey C., from Edmonton, Alberta. One of Audrey's hobbies is cross-stitiching. She is enrolled in literacy classes in Edmonton.
Real friends are forever:
Make no mistake on that.
They'll support you when you need it
And sometimes even when you don't.
Real friends won't leave
They will help you all
A real friend will always
You know they really care.
So what I'm trying to say
Is this one simple thing,
If you need a friend to talk to
I'll be there for you.
