Story of the Week

September 24, 2012

This week, we have a story written by Wilfrid Henderson, from Huntingdon, Quebec.  Wilfrid is enrolled in literacy classes at the Huntingdon Learning Centre. The Centre is an independent non-profit community organization in literacy. It offers the population of the MRC of the Haut-Saint-Laurent workshops in both French and English, basic reading, writing and mathematics.

My Summer

by Wilfrid Henderson

Last summer I bowled a lot. I took my own ball. I got a lot of strikes. I bowled with my friends and we had fun.

I played my xbox360 a lot. I played video games like: car racing, mustang, go cart racing, Ski-Doo racing and 4-wheeler racing.

I cut lawns for my Father and friends I made a lot of money. I like my Cub Cadet tractor mower the best. There are a lot of trees so I have to use the push mower too.
