Learning at the Library

by Paul Ochalla

My name is Paul Ochalla. I am from the Sudan. I moved to Canada a few years ago. I am now living in Canada. I spoke English before I came to Canada but I did not know that I had a learning disability. They sent me to SpellRead. I went there and I read 55 books. I am still working on my pronunciation. I also try to work on my sentences. That is what I am doing now. The SpellRead helped me a lot. Thanks for the people who worked hard to get me to that program.

I came to the library to work on my pronunciation and math. I have been coming to the library for many years now. I got the help I have been looking for and I learned a lot. For example, math and long division was hard for me, but now I could do it. Also, writing sentences was my big problem but now I am getting good at it. Thanks for the people at the library. They helped me for many years that I have been coming. I think it is a good thing that we have programs like this.
