I Miss You

No matter what happens I will always care,
Even if I'm not there, I'm in your eyes when you stare.
In your mind when you sleep, your tears when you weep.
In your voice when you speak, and your heart when it beats,
See in stars in twilight, I think about you every night.
I'm not with you, but I hope this makes it right.
Now pluck a petal from a flower, For the hugs, That I can't give,
Pluck one more and pretend it's a kiss.
Pluck a petal for the words, I can't whisper in your ear,
Pluck one more 'cause I can't wipe away the tears.
If I had to pluck a petal to show I care,
There wouldn't be enough time,
Nor enough petals,
To show you how much I really do care.
