The following Who am I ? was written by Choolawtee Beeharry-Paray, from Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Choolawtee came to Canada from Mauritius, to be closer to her children. She likes to help people. She says that in her country, you need a strong house for cyclone weather.

I live in India in the wild and I have a long trunk.
I am used in the circus.
I have big, big, feet.
I have a decoration on my back and on my face.
I am very beautiful.
I love to munch.
What am I?
