The following poem was written by Daniel F Eppert, from Windsor, Ontario. Dan is 42 years old. He went back to school after an on the job injury resulted in the loss of his job. Dan was enrolled in the LBS/Adult Education Program at St. Clair College in Windsor. He has taken a medical leave of absence and may or may not be able to return.
I look through the darkness
And there I find the lights of life
Stretched through time,
The bigger picture in this, I see,
Reveals the secrets of eternity.
And in the morning, when the dark is gone
The lights of life still shine on
As time goes on,
And on,
And on...
