Hope

by Garrett Bull Child

When fall comes, the geese
and ducks go South. A beautiful white snow
comes down and freezes the lake.
You see some kids skiing in, playing around,
playing hockey. Spring comes.
All the ice is melting and all the geese
and ducks come back.
