Evil in the World

People like to think about the positive aspects of the new millennium’s arrival. I feel we should concentrate on how we can rid this world of creatures like Slobodan Milosevic. Technology is advancing so quickly yet people don’t seem to be evolving with it. Otherwise, there wouldn’t be war. It’s only a matter of time before Milosevic is able to continue his deadly rampage against the Albanian people of Yugoslavia. Milosevic is a remarkable person because of his ability to remain a free man in spite of the fact that he is responsible for the brutal deaths of thousands of innocent people, many of them children. The refugees who arrived here still have to deal with nightmare images of their relatives being raped, beaten beyond recognition or slaughtered by police. Slobodan Milosevic has to be brought to justice and deserves nothing short of death. However, global authorities are too slow to act. This makes me wonder, what kind of message is this sending to our young people today? More importantly, how can our Albanian neighbours feel safe here when Milosevic may one day gain access to nuclear weapons? After all, both Russia and China strongly opposed the Nato bombing campaign. These two countries have performed illegal nuclear weapons tests in the past so they are able to produce nuclear warheads.
