My Dear Friend

by Dianne Vant Foort

My friend Joanne went to school in Woodstock. I went to visit and I helped with her reading. We helped to shed papers. Joanne graduate from that school. After we worked together in the workshop in Tillsonburg and did many jobs. We cleaned bathroom, dishes, and swept floors. We worked on a machine with wires, count them up and put stickers on plastic bag. Now we go swimming, bowling, shopping and visiting. I meet Joanne at her house. Joanne lives her parents in Salford. She has a tv in her house. She is Dutch and she goes to Salford church in Ingersoll. Joanne sometimes sleep over at our place, that keeps me company. I don't have a tv, but I have computer. When I have a birthday Joanne comes over. Joanne is very special to me because we play games, sing, make craft and party together
