On this week, we launched eleven stories written by students from The Victoria READ Society. You can read their stories as well as hear them.
Shelley Fraser-Biscoe attends Victoria READ Society. She moved to Victoria from England in 1981. Shelley is a single mom raising five children, which can be very challenging at times. Her interests are : writing poems, computers and spending quality time with her kids.

Good morning moon thank you for the night
for sharing with me your incandescent light
Calmly unfolding the short summer days
your presence appears as daylight fades
A welcome sight at the end of my day
We take a stroll as you light our way
into dream world to the land of Nod
Listening in harmony to nights soft promenade
As dawn kisses the earth, a day is born
Stretching awake I see you this splendid morn
Good morning moon thank you for the night
for sharing with me your incandescent light.
