The following story comes to us from Saint John, New Brunswick. The author, Jennifer Wilson, was recently enrolled in literacy classes at the Saint John Learning Exchange CASP. The class is part of the Community Academic Services Program (CASP) in the province.
I like to take the children out in the snow, go sledding with them and we will make a snowman. I like to drive in the snow and spin my tires and walk around the block. I like when it rains and splash in the puddles and the children take the dog out in the snow and the dog pulls them down the hill on the sled and the kids like it. And I shovel the stairs to remove the snow so we don't have to jump over the snow bank. I put the garbage on the snow bank. I take them to the playground in the snow and they have fun going down the sled and jump off the swing into the snow.
