The author, Chris McKay, is presently enrolled in Adult Basic Education classes at the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST). He hopes to go on and complete his grade 12. Chris plans to go to art school after he completes his grade 12, so that he doesn't have to live in Saskatoon all his life.
