Story of the Week

June 15, 2009

This week, we have a collection of 6 stories written by learners in Woodstock, Ontario. Joanne, Shelley, Joe, Liz, Scott, Rob, Mary, Sarah and Tom are all enrolled in literacy classes at the Gateway to Learning Program, a part of the Thames Valley District School Board. The students in the literacy class worked together to write stories and prepare photos and images for a 2009 calendar.

Tulip treasures

by Joanne, Shelley, Joe and Liz

We love tulips

They bloom in summer.
Our favourite flower is the tulip
because it comes in all different colours.

There are red, purple, yellow and pink ones.
We can smell the tulips
