Story of the Week

June 15, 2009

This week, we have a collection of 6 stories written by learners in Woodstock, Ontario. Joanne, Shelley, Joe, Liz, Scott, Rob, Mary, Sarah and Tom are all enrolled in literacy classes at the Gateway to Learning Program, a part of the Thames Valley District School Board. The students in the literacy class worked together to write stories and prepare photos and images for a 2009 calendar.

Retiring from VUTEQ

by Tom

I will be retiring in 2009. I have worked at Vuteq for 19 years. I have lots to do in my retirement and I am looking forward to it. I am so proud of my leather jacket , my clock and mugs which were all given to tne through the years. I will never forget my trip to New York. What a great time I had looking at the fireworks. Everyone has been so kind to me and I know I will miss everyone. Vuteq, you have changed my life and if I had to do it all over again, I would work at Vuteq. Thank you Vuteq!
