This week, the story comes to us from Thunder Bay, Ontario. The author, Felice Elvish, really likes coming to the Adult Learning Centre as it helps your brain grow.  She likes to go to yard sales and she likes to go out dancing with her boyfriend Wayne.  She also has a teenage son called Todd.  Felice comes from a family of six and she has three brothers and two sisters.  She is enrolled in literacy classes at Thunder Bay Literacy Group Adult Learning Centre.

Sad News Report

I have some bad news to tell you. For about 24 years, there was a man from Austria called Josef Fritzl. Police called his house a 'windowless house of horrors'. He was 73, his daughter is now 42, and I was 12 when she was imprisoned in the cell constructed deep beneath the family's apartment in the building. FritzI faces up to 15 years in prison if charged and convicted.

I think this man is a disgrace to society and should be ashamed of himself for what he has done to his daughter and his family. How could anybody ever do that to their own flesh and blood?? He must have been a very sick man because a normal person would not do that to their child!! I wish his daughter and family the best and that they recover from this ordeal.
