This week, we have written by Genevieve Hubbard, who lives in Miramichi with her husband, Reg. Genevieve's children have all left the nest but she still looks forward to their visits. She especially enjoys the company of her grandchildren. Genevieve decided to come back to improve her reading comprehension and math skills. While in class, she studied for and received her driver's permit. After taking a Young Drivers of Canada course, she got her driver's license. Her hobbies include walking, bowling and driving her new car.
I'm glad for this program because it helps me a lot.
Since I started school I got my driver's license. And I really feel proud of myself. It is very hard when you can't read or write when sometimes people ask you to read something and you can't read it. I thank God for this program and the teachers who help us.
