Story of the Week
April 26, 1999
Our story this week is a special event, because we are launching three learners stories on the Internet, and you can read their stories as well as hear them. This launch takes place during the 1999 Learners Conference, organised by Yukon Learn on April 23 and 24, 1999.
The following story was written by Lynda Chambers. Lynda started doing upgrading at Yukon Learn in June 1998. Her group meets twice a week. They have been working on spelling, beginner's math, and full comprehension of sentences. Lynda has come a long way since June, especially developing her patience.

Dan gives him the can of pop. "I don't get it," Dan says. "What does my pop have to do with the video game. Now the guard doesn't get the video game?" he says ."What the one I kicked", says Dan. "I didn't see you kick a video."
