Story of the Week

October 5, 1998

The poem we have this week was written by Rob Nichol, from Edmonton, Alberta. Rob has a 10 year-old son, Justin. Rob is upgrading to move into a new career field. He is a craftsman in his spare time.

Friendship

by Rob Nichol

Friend by friend,
Day by day,
I am afraid, deep down inside
You will fade away.
I like to think, hope and pray,
That you would come along some day.
Friends are forever so they say.
I am glad you brought
That inspiration to my day.
And with an end I would like to say,
"I will remember you forever and a day."
