Story of the Week

December 20, 2010

This week, we have a story written by Tim Marchant, from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Tim has had literacy tutoring with READ Saskatoon.

Story

by Tim Marchant

I’m getting better but I’ve got some ways to go. I might go to school, yet.

I’ve improved my performance. Got a raise several times in five years. I can drive to work now that I’ve got a license.

I used to have a hard time understanding people, so I didn’t go to anything.

I’m an assistant coach in hockey.

I knew literacy was important but now I know it affects everything.
