How I Became a Good Bowler

by Bill Taylor

I started bowling when I was with the YBC. I started when I was a junior now I have now worked my way up to a senior. I now bowl on a mixed league. Sometimes I bowl 178, 244, 199 and sometimes I win the 50-50 draw and we win money (example I won $16.30) we have won the Texas mickey Bottle. Sometimes I win the bottle and sometimes I get 300 but that only happens once in awhile. Since I've done my youth bowling I have done alot better, I had a skunk trophy plus high average and best attendance. I like to bowl because it gets me out plus I meet alot of people. I get a ride to bowling back and forth plus we have a banquet thats including dinner and dance I really enjoy bowling with my friends and we have alot of fun. It is mixed with men and women and we have a fun night Ilike getting out Wednesday nights to bowl I really enjoy bowling and in SAeptember we start again after the 5th.
