These stories were written by learners at Woodstock & District Developmental Services, in Woodstock, Ontario. This is a nonprofit agency which provides a range of services designed to enable people with developmental disabilities to successfully participate in community life.
Marg Minielly lives with her parents in a Victorian style home. She works two days a week at Walmart hanging and pricing clothes when they come in off the truck. Marg comes from a family of five, with four brothers. She has seven wonderful nieces and nephews.
My name is Margaret and I live in Woodstock. I take my literacy at home as I have my own computer and Dianne my teacher shows me how to type and do my math, we are just starting a geography course my friend Joan is doing it to. I work at Wal Mart and I like it. I skate every week. I am going on a holiday with my brother. I have a penpal in Austalia. I like typing.
