Story of the Week

January 10, 2011

This week, our story comes to us from Ottawa, Ontario. The author, Grigorie Tapuc, is enrolled in literacy classes at People, Words and Change in Ottawa.

Baptism

by Grigorie Tapuc

Saturday, February 28, 2009 I performed the Baptism for a little girl. She was six months old. When I started the religious service the girl started to cry and she continued until I put her in the water. This was a very important moment. After this the girl became very happy and she fell asleep. When I finished, I talked with her and she laughed. I was very happy for this laugh.
