My Life

by Shirley (Ann) Demerchant

As I was growing up my life was not bad, but I had my ups and downs, so when I got older, like when I was in my early thirties, I started to sing at the bars. I sing karaoke there. I sing rock and country songs. I live near the St. John River near Woodstock, N.B. My favorite hobbies are swimming, horseback riding, and camping. The reason I like to sing is because my last name is Murray, and the kids at school used to tease me about her, So, since then, I sing songs at karaoke every Friday and Saturday
