Karen was a lively, fun participant in the Challenges Writing Classes last year. She brings with her a positive attitude and a love of people, particularly her family. In fact, Karen would be interested in writing a family history. Her interests include reading about famous people and movie stars. Karen has experience volunteering in day cares and school libraries.

Autumn

That's when my birthday is. I will be forty-three years old. In October, it will be nine years that I've lived in our condo. Also October first is four years for me and Jonathon, since we’ve known each other. It's the happiest day of my life. It really is to see all the leaves come down. It's the barbecue season again. I like all the colours of leaves.
