The Resting Place

by Sandi Klaehn

Quiet Stillness, that's the sound;
Stones are scattered all around;
Heaven and earth forever bound,
Celestial peace here will be found.
Friends and loved ones are always near;
Memories and happy times are all so dear;
They talk; they muse; they know we hear;
We are waiting, so have no fear.

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust,
All things said, this is just;
Things turn out the way they must;
The LORD, OUR GOD, we have to trust.
