The following story was written by Jose Braganca, from Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. Jose works at Soogoma Industries, a workplace training program run by Community Living Algoma, in Sault Ste Marie. He has many interests including learning to use the computer, fishing, gardening and spending time with his family. He is a great Montreal Canadiens fan.
This is my second year attending Camp Wakonda. Camp Wakonda is located in Echo Bay, Ontario. I spend one week at camp each year. This year I will be going from June 13 –17.
During my time I had fun going swimming, playing games, boating, eating freezies, having campfires and singsongs.
The food was great! I ate pancakes, spaghetti and freezies.
I bunked with my friends Tyler and Jake. We laughed and joked together.
The reason I like going to camp is because of my friends, good food and the games.
I had such a great time that I want to go every year.
