Sometimes happen many things in your life, even if you didn't plan it. I am from Mexico and my husband is from Iraq. We have three children. We are a happy family. My husband and I try our best to raise our children. Our adventure started when my husband decided to visit his family in Iraq. We went to Iraq five months ago. I met my husband's family. Everyone was very happy to see us for the first time. It was also dangerous, because as you know there is a war, and we could not go outside at night. If you wanted to go outside it had to be daytime. My kids and I experience the hardship that Iraqi people experience each and every day. I remember that we were without water for 15 days. We could not take a shower all this time, but thank God the water came. I was very surprised I never thought, I'd never picture myself going to Iraq. This is one experience I would never forget as long as I live.
