About Myself

by Rupinder Jit Dhillon

My name is Rupinder Jit Dhillon. I am a student in ELSA 3 and I am from India. I was a student in India and completed a BA, a Post Graduate Diploma in Dress Design & Tailoring, and also a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications. I have two brothers. My family loves me very much. Last year on October 12th I got married. My husband is Canadian. I was very afraid because he was born in Canada and I was thinking his society and culture is very different from mine. But after being married I am very happy because he is a very nice person. He works for BC Hydro. He has one brother and one sister. My in-laws are very nice. Everybody loves me. My husband sponsored me and on May 29th I came to Canada. I like everything here but I miss my family and my friends very much. Now I want to learn more about the English Language because I have some problems in listening and speaking. I think I will improve my English because I have a nice teacher. She helps everybody very much. Now I have only two desires. I want to speak good English and get a good job. I am trying my best and I hope I will succeed. I cannot describe everything in this paper because I have a lot of information about myself. I don't like people who don't respect the feelings of others. I like to pray to God everyday and I want peace everywhere in this world.
