Story

by Truc

My story is about studying English when I landed in Canada. Hardly can I imagine a day without English in Canada. That was my first thought when I spoke English to Canadian people. They didn't understand any words I spoke just because my pronunciation was totally different from their pronunciation. I decided to go to school at Bow Valley College to study ESL. Looking back to three years ago, I was just a baby learning how to say "mommy" and "daddy." Now my spoken English is getting better. Turning to the present, I am studying upgrading at Bow Valley. This is the last semester before moving on to high school level, so I am trying my best to get my goal. Generally, English will surely play a more important role in my future life, so I will go on.
