The Academic Upgrading Program at Keyano College includes, among others: Academic Foundations with Literacy to Grade 9, where the skills learned will help adults to continue their education at the high school level, or prepare for employment. Another program, the College Preparation program is tailored to meet the needs of adults who wish to upgrade their academic education.

ABE, part of Academic and Career Preparation at Kwantlen, is of interest to those students who wish to upgrade specific skills and knowledge in English (reading, writing, spelling, etc.), math and science; obtain a BC Adult Graduation Diploma; prepare to write the General Education Development (GED) test, the Language Proficiency Index (LPI) test, or other specific program entry tests.
