As a member of Laubach Literacy of Canada and a volunteer non-profit organization, the mission of Laubach Literacy Fredericton is to raise the literacy level of the people of the Fredericton area through the "Each One Teach One" method. Their trained tutors can take students to a grade six level in reading.
Laubach Literacy New Brunswick is a volunteer organization offering confidential and free literacy and numeracy training in communities throughout the province.
This association promotes the understanding and acceptance of the ability of persons with learning disabilities to lead meaningful and successful lives.
Through this website, a team of researchers at the University of New Brunswick and l’Université de Moncton is making the history of work and the history of labour in the province more accessible to researchers and students, to the labour movement and to the general public. The program places a historical perspective on the contemporary challenges facing working people in New Brunswick today.
