The mandate of the UFCW Local 247 Training Centre is to provide the tools and the opportunity necessary for workers to achieve their full potential in the workplace and to invest in lifelong learning. It was the first accredited training centre for union members in Canada, now with membership centres in New Westminster and Kelowna and two other centres in Prince George and Fort Saint John.
