The Wainwright & District Council for Adult Lifelong Learning is one of 83 Adult Learning Councils in Alberta. Its adult learning and family literacy programs are listed according to learning objective – employability, adult literacy, community enhancement – and general interest. Using a client-centred approach, the organization forms and maintains partnerships that respond to community educational needs, provides opportunities for teachers and learners facing barriers and advocates adult literacy in the community.
