Laubach Literacy Ontario is a volunteer association dedicated to increasing literacy in Ontario. LLO's literacy councils support the "Each One Teach One" philosophy of peer tutoring. Laubach provides both training and professional development opportunities for its tutors and trainers. LLO is a Canadian distributor of all New Readers Press materials, including the entire Laubach Way to Reading series.

Learning Networks of Ontario (LNO) is made up of 16 learning networks each of which provides support to Literacy and Basic Skills (LBS) programs through core services funded by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities as part of Employment Ontario. As a group, LNO shares resources to provide quality training; collaborates in areas that relate to service coordination; identifies provincial needs; and plans a response to these needs. The Learning Networks are playing an increasingly important role in system planning, coordination and integration that extends beyond the field of literacy to other partners under the umbrella of Employment Ontario.

This new website from AlphaPlus identifies literacy resources, recommends tutor training programs and provides instructional tools and lesson plans. Geared toward correctional volunteer literacy tutors in Ontario, the site also links to community literacy resources and advocacy organizations. The forum section allows literacy providers to share ideas and support each other.
