Since 1996, the Centre has offered learning opportunities to area residents for little to no charge. They concentrate on computer literacy, after school programs, and the creation of digital collections. In 1998, they partnered with the PEI Institute of Adult & Community Education, Inc. to offer academic upgrading. They offer basic literacy skills, GED preparation, and high school credits.
